Living with a disability can be challenging even where disability rights are protected and building and transportation standards ensure access. This isn’t the case in Sierra Leone, where the disabled face discrimination and end up begging in the streets to survive. Journey to a community in Freetown, where polio survivors with disabilities have found social support although the hardships and setbacks they endure persist.
