Over 500 people who escaped the mudslide and floods have found shelter in a colony of tents in Juba Camp. It’s a struggle to bring normalcy back for the kids here, some of whom are now orphans as well. One of their most vital needs is education, and NGOs have set up transitional classrooms where volunteer teachers are helping keep their hopes and dreams for the future alive. The meals we provided were also a comfort.
