Following the tragic 7.8 Magnitude earthquake in Ecuador in April, Tzu Chi quickly established a disaster assessment team of volunteers who flew to Ecuador to create a relief plan as soon as possible. They first travelled to Manta and Portoviejo, once vibrant and popular cities with many stores and hotels, but now unrecognizable, with a tent communities of people homeless because of the earthquake camping in the middle of town.

#Plank4Ecuador to help Ecuadorians as Tzu Chi transitions from emergency to mid and long term aid.
