2016 Tzu Chi Brooklyn Community Health Day

The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation, a faith based non-profit organization, will co-host a Community Health Fair with the Brooklyn Borough President, Mr. Eric L Adam, to benefit the underprivileged households in Brooklyn communities on Sunday, November 6th from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM at Brooklyn Borough Hall, 209 Joralemon Street Brooklyn, NY 1120
Tzu Chi Foundation, celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2016, has provided aid in more than 94 countries, and has benefitted millions of families since its establishment in 1966. The Northeast Region Branch, celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, has provided free clinic services to the Great New York area for 15 years. The vision of Tzu Chi’s Medical Mission is to motivate the doctors and nurses to truly work for people, with pain and sickness in mind, setting a new level of moral principles for medical professionals around the world.
FREE Services Provided:
- Oral hygiene education
- Oral cancer screening and examination
- Flu shots
- Health screenings including blood pressure and hepatitis B
- Medical consultation in 14 specialties
- Health lecture – Hepatitis B and Zika

This event will mobilize more than 200 medical professionals and volunteers in more than 10 specialties to serve the needy people. We accept all underprivileged households without background check and insurance.
