Lift Hearts this Holiday Season and Help Families Impacted by the Camp Fire

The Camp Fire has left thousands of homes destroyed and just as many families without shelter, clothing, food, and so much more. This is why we are calling for a 1-to-1 match! It’s important that the seeds of giving are widespread, so we are putting 10,000 people to task to help 10,000 families affected by the Camp Fire.

Your generous contributions will go to directly help Tzu Chi USA volunteers on the ground to provide emotional comfort and spiritual relief, our warm Da Ai technology blankets, and emergency cash relief in the following amounts:

The now-contained Camp Fire is the deadliest wildfire in California’s modern history. It has burned through 153,336 acres, equivalent to the size of the city of Chicago, and has destroyed 18,804 structures in its path, including 14,000 homes. 85 are confirmed dead and hundreds more are still missing. But, families throughout Butte County must move forward.

That is why we’ve set a rallying cry: let’s gather 10,000 people to offer emergency cash relief to 10,000 families affected by the Camp Fire. A contribution of $500 will help a family of up to 2, $600 will help a family of up to 4, and $800 will help families of over 5, all who must now restart a life from scratch. Join Tzu Chi USA volunteers who are working ‘round the clock through the 2018 holiday season and support a family. Together, we can prove: hope heals!
