We’re looking for a digital marketing and events specialist who is experienced in developing, implementing and managing performance-based marketing campaigns. As our marketing specialist, you will help increase exposure and awareness for our foundation in the United States. Support and interest in the causes of the foundation and the ability to take the reins on projects, working both independently and within a team setting, are a must. This is a full-time position.


Your Responsibilities

  • Create and execute all marketing promotions for events, fundraisers and audience development

  • Maintain and update internal intelligence on email analytics, engagement metrics, conversion funnels, and overall campaign performance for internal and external use

  • Analyze performance reporting to identify optimization opportunities and recommend how to improve the effectiveness of promotions across all marketing channels

  • Identify automation opportunities to increase efficiency and improve processes within the team

  • Support development of the marketing campaign strategy, including planning campaigns to deploy an appropriate mix of cross-channel marketing tactics to ensure goals are met

  • Stay current on digital marketing best practices, e-commerce trends, new web technologies and how to implement these new technologies into campaigns

  • Utilize project management tool to manage the email marketing deployment calendar

  • Work with Digital Content Team on promotion requests and digital content creation schedule

  • Utilize audience segmentation based on audience profile data, location and/or engagement to deliver targeted messaging and ensure maximum marketing efficiency

  • Preserve data integrity and hygiene by adhering to established marketing guidelines

  • Apply testing methods (A/B) into everyday practice so that we are continuously learning and making improvements


  • Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in leading goal-oriented digital campaigns

  • Hands-on experience using social media and SEO for brand awareness

  • Demonstrate qualities of an organized individual with great attention to detail and focus on the quality of results

  • Must have a positive and upbeat attitude that focuses on what's possible instead of what isn't

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Capable of multitasking on-site in a fast-paced environment and with diverse teams

  • Capable of working extended hours when required

  • Must reside in New York City and have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States


  • Fundamental knowledge of web analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc)

  • Marketing metrics, specifically: A/B testing, creative and post-campaign ROI analysis, and the ability to optimize campaigns based on performance

  • Proficient in working with Google online tools (Google docs, Google sheets, Google Drive, etc)

  • Familiar with current publishing functionalities on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest in film, especially documentary film
  • Bilingual - fluent in English and one other language (Chinese/Spanish) - a plus, definitely not required
