It was a family dream: Providing schooling for children in Pedernales who can’t afford tuition. While they had over 500 students enrolled before the earthquake, given the damages incurred, this institution lost several buildings and is now struggling to survive. And yet, the community is united in their deep appreciation for this school, so parents keep appearing to offer their services, building materials, anything.
