“Regardless if we are Buddhist, Catholic, Protestant, Jewish or Muslim, suffering doesn’t know borders”, were the words the Mayor of Romorantin-Lanthenay shared with flood victims during Tzu Chi’s disaster relief distribution in his town. That’s why the spirit of universal solidarity that Tzu Chi volunteers bring has such an impact, as it did here in France, where people said they will never forget the love that they shared as one family.
