During our scheduled rice distributions in Jérémie, Haiti, volunteers encountered intense downpours, slowing down the process. Adamant in their desire to aid residents in need, this hindrance did not dampen their resolve. “After Hurricane Matthew, we lived in misery. This is the most fortunate thing to happen since then.” Volunteers from near and far joined the effort, returning smiles to the people of Haiti once more.
