Disaster Relief
At the beginning of June, France suffered major flooding and a town called Salbris was gravely affected. Around 200 families were left in distress, as many houses will have to be demolished or rebuilt entirely since the water damage is beyond repair. For the first time, Tzu Chi volunteers in France were called into action to provide disaster relief, and created bonds with local residents in Salbris that will last a lifetime.
