September 19, 2018

Medicine

After grandmother Jennifer’s daughter suffered from multiple sclerosis, she began taking care of both her daughter and granddaughter. While supporting the entire family, grandmother Jennifer had no idea her granddaughter, also named Jennifer, was falling behind in learning due to vision problems. After Tzu Chi Medical volunteers provided free eye care services in the San Bernardino school district, granddaughter Jennifer was given a pair of new glasses. She finally is able to see clearly and excel in her studies. Grandmother Jennifer shares, “I learned that there are people who care about people… That’s what shows me that there is still love on this earth.”

Support our efforts in providing medical care to those in need.
