In 2019, the UN Youth Climate Summit was hosted in New York City during Climate Week. The Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation was in attendance weighing in on the world’s global crisis and actively contributes to the reduction of carbon emissions by setting up recycling centers around the world and working on being transformative through technology. Eloquently expressed by Nehali Anupriya, an analyst from the office of the President of the General Assembly, “at least half of the world population is under the age of 35. That’s a lot of manpower and a lot of people who need to be represented and need to have their priorities heard.”  Discover how Tzu Chi is answering the call.
